Payments

socks.cat accepts Bitcoin, Monero, Litecoin, Ethereum, and other enabled coins. No cards, no PayPal, no identity. You buy prepaid traffic and spend it as you proxy.

How it works

  1. Sign in with your whisker key and open Top up.
  2. Pick how many GiB you want and choose a coin. The site creates a one-time quote with an exact amount and deposit address (shown with a QR code).
  3. Send the quoted amount to that address before the quote expires.
  4. A background poller watches the chain. Once your transaction reaches the required confirmations, traffic is credited at the flat per-GiB USD price shown on the top-up and account pages.

Each transaction is credited once (we key on the transaction id), so polling is safe and idempotent.

Confirmations

Payments are credited after the configured confirmation depth (varies by coin; often around 10 blocks). Until then the payment page shows progress but traffic is not yet spendable.

Topping up later

Request a new quote from Top up any time. Quotes expire after a short TTL (typically 15 minutes); expired quotes need a fresh one.

Expiry

A self-serve account that is never funded is deleted automatically 24 hours after creation. Once it has any purchased traffic it is kept. If you intend to use an account, fund it within a day.

Refunds

Prepaid traffic is non-refundable. Buy what you'll use.
